That foundation shapes everything. Each arrangement is approached as a composition: a study in texture, movement, color, and the deliberate use of space.
There is no catalogue of standard designs. Every piece responds to the flowers themselves, to their curve, their weight, and their quiet personality, and to the environment they are destined for. The result is work that feels less like decoration and more like a presence.
Creativity, instinct, and an uncompromising eye for form guide every composition. This is floral design approached as an art form: slower, more demanding, and capable of leaving a lasting impression long after the moment has passed.

Long before I ever touched a flower, I learned how to see. I spent my life observing composition, light, and the subtle interplay of color and style. I grew up drawing and painting, completely self taught, moving from medium to medium until I fell in love with the rich depth of oils and acrylics. Art was always my sanctuary, but for a long time, it remained a personal world I explored purely for the love of creating.
Nairobi Soleil started in the kitchen of my old house, where I made arrangements for my mom every two weeks. People started noticing and began asking for everything from birthday flowers to anniversary arrangements. That was the moment I realized I truly loved this. I could see myself exploring flowers as a medium and creating something genuinely beautiful.
Now, I run my own studio, where my passion for art grows by the day and I get to explore it through botanicals.

Outside of floral design, I practice traditional archery. Shooting requires absolute presence, spatial awareness, and respect for form and line. That same discipline and focus translate directly into how I anchor structural shapes and balance weight in spatial installations.
I have a deep passion for culinary creation and understanding the palate, exploring how the five fundamental flavors complement each other, and how textures, colors, and layers interact to create a complete experience. Building a floral composition uses that exact same sensory logic: balancing soft against rough, warm against cool, and subtle notes against bold focal points.
